Opened in 2002 by Her Majesty the Queen, Manchester Cathedral Visitor & Conference Centre is situated in the heart of the City of Manchester, just a few minutes walk from Victoria & Piccadilly train stations. The Visitor Centre is immediately adjacent to the South Porch of the Cathedral and is a £3million development. The listed exterior of the building hides a wealth of facilities in a very modern interior. Inside the building you will find a Restaurant sharing the same space as the Hanging Bridge; a 15th century medieval bridge that originally connected the Church with the medieval town, it is one of Manchester's oldest structures, and a Scheduled Monument. The entrance and ground floors open up into a Gift Shop & Exhibition space and two further floors are set aside as our Conference Centre. Why not visit the Centre & Cathedral and discover the History and Services on offer?
