All of the following terms and conditions must be agreed to and met in order to make a booking at the centre.
Confirmations
All bookings must be confirmed by either letter, fax (0161 834 5397) or email (peter.mellor@manchestercathedral.org). Any unconfirmed bookings will be removed from the diary two weeks prior to the event.
Invoices
Invoices will be sent out the next working day following the event. An invoice address must be given when making the initial booking.
Payment must be received within 15 working days otherwise an 8% surcharge will be added to the bill
Deposits
Manchester Cathedral Visitor Centre reserves the right to ask for a deposit of 50% of the anticipated bill in advance for new customers. For large bookings a deposit may be required for new and returning customers.
Booking Information All details appertaining to the booking, ie. numbers attending, times for refreshments and lunch and equipment required must be given at least two working days prior to the event. In most cases the number of attendees given will be what is charged for.
Cancellations Cancellations must be given in writing or by email. There will be a cancellation charge invoiced to the address given with the following charges:
Within 4 weeks of the event - 25% of the total invoice
Within 2 weeks of the event - 50% of the total invoice
Within 3 days of the event - 100% of the total invoice
General House Keeping Rules Under no circumstances must food or drink be brought into the Centre. Only food or drink purchased from the refectory may be consumed on the premise.
It is against the law to smoke in the building, if anybody wishes to smoke, we would be obliged if they did not do so outside the front door.
